Insight
Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) is one of the largest and most popular public health insurance providers in Germany. They wanted to send an interactive Christmas greeting to their clients that would create a heartwarming mood while also providing information about current offers.
Idea
From the first moment we had the clear vision of a calm and christmasy set up somwhere at the northpole. A symbolic place where we can slow down at the end of the year and reflect on everything that has happend during 2022.
My Role
I was responsible for the ideation of the scenery and presenting it to the client. I also created the sketch of the scenery and ensured that the supporting agency, Moin Motion, translated our vision into the illustrated animation.
I started sketching the scenary and together with moin motion we made an animation concept and brought my vision to life. The illustration style was defined in the TK design guidelines and I made sure to respect the defined style, but also elevated the look with my ideas for the animations that completely changed the set-up.
Fin the snowfox
I created the idea of a meditating snowfox.
Luckily the client loved it as well.
It brought us so much joy to see him become alive.
Impact
The stage environment we created now serves as the template for every Christmas greeting sent out to 2.9 million TK-insured people each year.
